Alarms based on Object Size, Direction and Behavior

QbProtect offers customizable alarm generation based on various parameters, e.g. the size of detected objects (small, medium, large), movement direction or behavior of an object like intruder lifetime. This allows for filtering out small animals, reducing false alarms, and improving detection accuracy.

GDPR-compliant RTSP Stream

Blickfeld QbProtect provides an RTSP stream that adheres to the standard for real-time video transmission while being inherently privacy-protecting. The transmitted anonymous 3D data is GDPR-compliant, as no personal identifiers are captured, making it ideal for applications where privacy protection is a top priority.

Tracking and Sensor Fusion

Blickfeld QbProtect’s tracking feature allows for the tracking of objects detected within multiple sensors fields of view. Parameters such as minimum track length or track lifetime can be configured to determine whether alarms are triggered. This ensures that only relevant objects and movement patterns are monitored and reported.

Integrated Geolocation

With QbProtect’s integrated geolocation feature, a map can be placed in the background of the scene, making it easier to align the point cloud into the environment and providing visual feedback. This helps security officers quickly determine the exact location of intrusions.

What is the difference between Qb2 and QbProtect?

QbProtect is based on Qb2 hardware, with a specially designed software explicitly for security applications. Users are able to configure their own security zones as well as alarm logic for reliable alarm generation customized to their needs. Users can use our pre-configured flows in order to adapt e.g. data transmissions and corresponding alarm configurations.

How can I integrate QbProtect in my existing security infrastructure?

QbProtect can be integrated into your own existing systems via common interfaces (via TCP/IP & MQTT in VMS or Web I/Os, etc.).

What does detection based on true object-size mean?

QbProtect is able to detect objects based on their true object size via pre-defined parameters that specify the size of an object (distinction between small object, human, big object). Therefore, an exact statement can be made on what kind of object has triggered a detection/intrusion.
