Blickfeld, a developer and manufacturer of cutting-edge LiDAR technology, has won the Best of Technology Award 2023 in the Purchase & Supply Chain Management category with a digital solution for real-time volume measurement of material stocks. The award, presented by Wirtschaftswoche, a prominent German business magazine, in collaboration with the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research (ISI), the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), and the consulting firm Capgemini, recognizes companies for the most innovative IT applications and disruptive digital solutions.
Blickfeld has received the award “Mittelstandspreis der Medien”! The prestigious prize honors excellent medium-sized companies and was presented in the incomparable atmosphere of the Alte Oper Frankfurt.
Blickfeld has made it to Germany’s top 300 startup employers in a study conducted by Business Punk and Statista for the second year in a row. In the category “Business Products & Software”, Blickfeld ranked sixth with a score of 87.52 out of 100.
Double win for Blickfeld at the Urban Tech Challengers in Warsaw. The LiDAR supplier was awarded in the Infrastructure & Industrial IoT category and took home the overall win as the Ultimate Urban Tech Challenger 2022.
Blickfeld, a leading provider of solid-state LiDAR technology, receives the German award “The Spark” by Handelsblatt and McKinsey which honors digital innovation. In a 90-second pitch on Thursday evening, co-founder Rolf Wojtech impressively presented the various applications of the scalable solid-state LiDAR sensors to the audience. The Munich-based start-up had already explained Blickfeld’s technology in detail to the eleven-member jury in September and thus prevailed against the other nine finalists in the competition.
Blickfeld, a leading provider of solid-state LiDAR technology, has been awarded 100,000 Euro for achieving first place in the “Start me up!” contest, which is organized by the business magazine BILANZ. The Munich-based start-up competed with a total of 1,200 applicants, ten of whom had reached the final round.
The Munich-based LiDAR company Blickfeld has been awarded the German Innovation Award in the startup category. The jury rated the level of innovation and market opportunities of the new technology as major plus points.
